Yagna, a Sanskrit word emphasizing ‘Sacrifice” or “Pious Dedicated Worship”, is the acronym for Youth Awakening for Glorious NAtion. Yagna Foundation was registered on July 12, 2009 under A.P. Societies Registration Act (Registration# 1201/2007). Yagna was formally registered much later than the service activities were started.
Our Principle
The soul of our organization is spirituality. We seek that highest ideal through the worship of God immediately in front, namely the ignorant, the diseased and the poor. Following Swami Vivekananda’s beacon words: Moorkha Devobhava. Rogi Devobhava. Daridra Devobhava
Our Vision
Our vision is to re-establish the past glory of our country. This was the ultimate vision of Swami Vivekananda. Our staunch belief is that the glory of an individual and the nation in turn is possible only through proper education. We sincerely have felt a serious lacuna in the present education systems. We need an education system that delivers dynamic young people who are ready to face the challenges of life and not succumb under its pressure. There is a need for an education system that reminds the children and youth of this great nation the glory of their country and gives them a sense of self-worth. And many such vital aspects remain to be met.
